SPG Team Arrives in Agartala Ahead of PM Modi’s Visit to Inaugurate Tripura Sundari Temple on September 22

Agartala, September 16, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Tripura on September 22 to inaugurate the newly renovated Udaipur Mata Tripura Sundari Temple. The temple, developed under the Prasad Project, is one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in the region.

The Prime Minister will arrive in Tripura at 3 PM and participate in the inauguration ceremony. Following the event, he will perform a puja at the temple before departing the state.

In preparation for the visit, the Special Protection Group (SPG) team has already arrived in Agartala today to assess and coordinate the security arrangements. The SPG arrived on a special Indian Air Force aircraft named ‘Gajraj’, which departed after disembarking the team.

Additionally, the Prime Minister’s car and convoy vehicles have also reached the state as part of the security deployment for the event, ensuring smooth logistics and protection during the Prime Minister’s brief stay.
