Three personnel of the Assam Police sustained injuries in a suspected grenade blast at Sapjuri in Bokakhat. Assam Minister Atul Bora visited the injured police personnel at Swahid Kamala Miri Civil Hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.

Minister Bora interacted with the doctors and senior police officials during his visit. He later informed that all three injured personnel are out of danger and are being provided with the best possible medical care.

Strongly condemning the incident, Bora termed it a “cowardly act of violence” and stated that such actions have no place in a civilized society. He added that these incidents will not weaken the collective resolve to maintain peace and harmony in the region.
