Three German Mountaineers Scale Mt Tenchenkhang In West Sikkim

Gangtok, May 12: Three mountaineers from Germany have successfully scaled Mt Tenchenkhang, a 6,010-metre peak in the Khangchendzonga range of West Sikkim, becoming the first German nationals to reach its summit.

The team, comprising Andre Handrack (61), Petra Handrack (51), and Rene Specht (58), began their 13-day expedition from Yuksam on April 28. They summited the peak at 10 a.m. on May 8 and concluded the expedition with their return to Yuksam on May 10.
