In a successful operation along the Indo-Bangladesh border in Tripura, Border Security Force (BSF) troops thwarted multiple infiltration and smuggling attempts during the night of January 3-4, 2024. The BSF apprehended four Bangladeshi nationals and seized a large quantity of contraband items.

The recovered goods included Ganja, Phensedyl, firecrackers, sugar, and other illicit items, with a total value of ₹6,97,522. The BSF’s prompt and effective action highlights its ongoing commitment to securing the border and preventing illegal activities.
