The Border Security Force (BSF) in Tripura successfully foiled two smuggling attempts along the Indo-Bangladesh border. On February 21, 2025, BSF troops intercepted a narcotic smuggling operation, seizing 2,000 Yaba tablets worth ₹20,00,000/-.

In a separate incident during the night of February 21-22, 2024, BSF personnel at Border Outpost (BOP) Nidaya thwarted another smuggling attempt, recovering 102 new mobile phones valued at ₹16,97,898/-.

These actions reflect the BSF’s continuous efforts to secure the border and prevent illegal activities.
