Tripura: BSF Foils Narcotics Smuggling Bid On Indo-Bangladesh Border

Vigilant troops of the Border Security Force (BSF) in Tripura successfully thwarted an attempt to smuggle narcotics across the Indo-Bangladesh border, apprehending one Bangladeshi smuggler.

The seized contraband includes 8,000 Yaba tablets, valued at ₹80,00,000.

According to BSF officials, the smuggling attempt was intercepted along the border, preventing the illegal substances from entering Indian territory.

The apprehended smuggler and seized narcotics have been handed over to concerned authorities for further investigation.
