The Border Security Force (BSF) in Tripura has successfully seized contraband items worth ₹26 lakh in two separate operations along the Indo-Bangladesh border.
In the first operation at the Amzadnagar Border Outpost (BOP), BSF troops intercepted a smuggling attempt and seized goods valued at ₹14,14,588, including medicine tablets and wristwatches.
In a second operation later that day, the BSF foiled another smuggling attempt, rescuing cattle and seizing illegal items such as Ganja, liquor, and other contraband, with a total value of ₹12,72,760.
These actions emphasize the BSF’s ongoing commitment to curbing cross-border smuggling activities.
