In a successful operation on December 30, Border Security Force (BSF) personnel in Tripura foiled multiple smuggling attempts along the Indo-Bangladesh border. During the operation, the BSF seized contraband items, including sugar and firecrackers, valued at ₹8,04,523, intended for illegal export to Bangladesh.
Along with the contraband, BSF troops also rescued cattle being trafficked across the border. The timely intervention highlights the BSF’s continued vigilance and dedication to securing the border and preventing illegal cross-border activities.
