Agartala, Dec 27: The Border Security Force (BSF) in Tripura has successfully intercepted several narcotics and contraband smuggling attempts along the Indo-Bangladesh Border, leading to the seizure of goods valued at ₹8,16,168.
In a key operation, BSF troops seized 200 Yaba tablets, 192 bottles of Phensedyl, and 28 kilograms of Ganja, with an estimated value of ₹3,81,558. Additionally, the forces foiled multiple other smuggling attempts, recovering medicines, sugar, and other illegal items worth ₹4,34,610. The operations underscore the continued vigilance and effectiveness of BSF personnel in preventing illegal trade along the sensitive border.
