Agartala, September 18, 2025: The Tripura government is in the final stages of preparation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to Udaipur on September 22, where he will inaugurate the redeveloped premises of the Mata Tripura Sundari Temple in Gomati district.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday inspected the temple site and the OTPC Helipad Ground at Palatana, the venue for key programmes during the Prime Minister’s visit. He was accompanied by ministers, legislators, and senior officials to review ongoing infrastructure upgrades and beautification works under the Centre’s PRASAD scheme.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister directed officials to complete all arrangements within the stipulated time and suggested necessary improvements. He also stressed on ensuring smooth management of the event at Palatana Helipad Ground.

The state administration has accorded top priority to the project, with Udaipur witnessing extensive decoration ahead of the inauguration ceremony.

BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee, Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, several MLAs, the Chief Secretary, DGP, and other senior officials were present during the review.
