Agartala, August 01, 2025: Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha held a crucial meeting with the tribal leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday focusing on issues of development, cultural preservation, and the empowerment of tribal communities in Tripura.

Taking to social media after the meeting, Dr. Saha described the discussions as a “meaningful exchange of views” and emphasized that a range of development-related matters concerning the tribal population were deliberated upon.

“The joint commitment towards inclusive development, cultural preservation, and empowerment of the tribal community was reiterated,” the Chief Minister said.

She also acknowledged the importance of the grassroots experience and insights shared by the tribal leadership during the discussions. “Their valuable perspectives are guiding our collective efforts in building a strong and progressive Tripura,” Dr. Saha added.

Party sources indicated that the meeting aimed at further strengthening coordination between the state leadership and tribal leaders within the party, as part of the government’s broader inclusive development agenda.
