Agartala, February 19, 2026: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha attended the AI Impact Summit at Bharat Mandapam, where global leaders, policymakers, and technology experts convened to discuss the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in governance, innovation, and sustainable development.

The summit combined high-level dialogue with cultural showcases, including a heritage programme and dinner, aimed at fostering international cooperation on AI-driven initiatives.

Dr. Saha’s participation underscored Tripura’s growing commitment to digital transformation. He held discussions with Union Ministers, fellow Chief Ministers, and international dignitaries on digital governance, emerging technologies, and collaborative opportunities to accelerate Tripura’s development.

Tripura’s presence extended beyond the Chief Minister. Five AI-based startups from the state presented their innovations at the Delhi Start-up Summit, while officials from the Directorate of Information Technology engaged with investors to strengthen the state’s AI ecosystem.

Political observers suggest Dr. Saha may also meet senior party leaders during his stay, adding a political dimension to the otherwise technology-focused visit.

The Chief Minister’s engagement at the summit reflects Tripura’s ambition to position itself as a forward-looking state, embracing innovation and digital reforms to drive growth and development.
