Agartala, August 22, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Friday witnessed a joint drone demonstration organized by the Indian Army and Assam Rifles at the Assam Rifles ground in Agartala.

The event showcased advanced combat strategies using drone technology, drawing appreciation from the Chief Minister, who interacted with the soldiers and officers present.

Sharing his views on social media, Dr. Saha wrote that India’s defense sector has witnessed “remarkable strengthening under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” particularly with the induction of indigenous and modern warfare technologies. He added that the rapid expansion of drone applications in counter-terrorism and combat operations has given a “new dimension” to the country’s security preparedness.

The demonstration generated significant enthusiasm among those in attendance. Director General of Police Anurag, Home Secretary Abhishek Singh, and several senior officials also joined the program.
