Agartala, November 14, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha on Friday said the Bihar election outcome in favour of the NDA alliance was “certain from the beginning”, adding that the political landscape of the entire country would change once Bengal “is liberated”.

Reacting to the Bihar results, the Chief Minister said he had campaigned in three Assembly constituencies in Champaran, where the NDA is now leading in all segments. He congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, and the central leadership for the victory.

Calling the result “inevitable”, Saha said the people of Bihar had rejected the era of “hooliganism”, asserting that there was “no possibility” of Lalu Prasad’s return to power. “In view of his past record, the people will not accept him again. The NDA’s victory was certain,” he remarked.

Shifting focus to West Bengal, the Chief Minister said the political momentum had now moved eastward. “Now it’s Bengal’s time. If Bengal is liberated this time, the face of the whole of India will change,” he claimed.
