Agartala, December 18, 2025: The Tripura’s Dhalai district administration has extended financial support to the families affected by the tragic fire incident at the Aparashkar Brick Factory in the Nakphul area of Kamalpur, reaffirming the government’s commitment to stand by victims in times of crisis. A total ex-gratia assistance of ₹25,16,000 has been sanctioned for those who lost their lives or sustained injuries in the devastating incident.
According to official sources, the administration has approved ₹4 lakh each for the families of the deceased. In addition, financial assistance has also been extended from the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) to those who were injured in the fire, based on the severity of their injuries.

So far, eight beneficiaries have received the sanctioned assistance. The families of five deceased individuals have been provided ₹4 lakh each as ex-gratia relief. Two persons who suffered serious injuries have received ₹2.50 lakh each, while one individual with minor injuries has been granted ₹16,000.
The prompt disbursal of relief reflects the district administration’s swift response and humanitarian approach in the aftermath of the tragedy. Officials said necessary steps were taken to ensure that the affected families received financial aid without delay.

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, in a message shared on social media, expressed deep condolences to the bereaved families and solidarity with the injured. “The state government stands firmly with the families of the deceased and those injured during this time of grief. All possible relief and necessary assistance are being ensured,” the Chief Minister stated.
The district administration has also assured that further support and coordination will continue to help the affected families cope with the loss and recover from the incident.
