Agartala, August 04, 2025:
A desperate father from Tripura’s Kathalia has appealed to the Chief Minister for financial assistance to save his two-year-old son who has been suffering from a severe urinary tract problem since birth, now complicated by a kidney disorder.
According to reports, Abu Jar, the son of Abu Hanif, a private teacher at Daodharani Madrasa has never urinated normally since birth. Doctors initially performed a surgery to create an alternative passage for urination through his stomach, assuring that a follow-up operation at age two would resolve the issue.
However, when Abu Jar was taken for the second surgery after turning two, doctors diagnosed him with a new kidney problem, further complicating his condition. Over the past two years, the family has already spent nearly Rs 6 lakh on treatment.
“Now doctors are saying that another major surgery is needed, and it must be done outside the state. But I don’t have the means to bear another Rs 6 lakh expense,” said Abu Hanif.
With tears in his eyes, Hanif made a heartfelt plea to the public and the Chief Minister. “I’m just a teacher with a modest income. I am pleading with the honourable Chief Minister and kind-hearted people to help save my son’s life,” he said.
The family is hoping that timely intervention and public support can help the child get the life-saving treatment he urgently needs.
