Tripura Government Allocates ₹13 Crore More for Post-Flood Relief, Total Now ₹25 Crore

Agartala, January 07, 2024: The Tripura government has approved an additional ₹13 crore from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to address post-flood damages caused by the August 2024 deluge. With this fresh allocation, the total relief fund now stands at ₹25 crore.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said, “The state government is committed to supporting those affected by the devastating floods. This additional allocation will ensure swift assistance and the rehabilitation of impacted areas.”

The sanctioned amount will be utilized through the Revenue Department (Disaster Management) to provide necessary aid to flood-hit regions. Dr. Saha emphasized, “Our focus is on rebuilding and offering timely help to those in need. The government will leave no stone unturned in ensuring relief reaches every affected individual.”

The Chief Minister also reiterated the administration’s dedication to disaster management and preparedness to mitigate the impact of future calamities.
