Agartala, August 27, 2025: On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Tripura Gramin Bank (TGB) and automobile giant Ashok Leyland entered into a strategic partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed at the bank’s head office in Agartala on Tuesday.
The signing ceremony was graced by TGB Chairman Satyendra Singh, General Manager Anup Kumar Saha, along with Ashok Leyland officials including Kapil Pandiya (Retail Head), Chinmoy Das (Regional Dealer Development), and Gautam Rajkhowa (Regional Manager).
The collaboration is aimed at strengthening financial inclusion in Tripura by providing easy and affordable financing solutions for commercial vehicles. Officials stated that the initiative will support customers, entrepreneurs, and small businesses in achieving their goals while contributing to employment generation and rural connectivity.

TGB officials emphasized that the MoU marks not just a formal agreement but a shared vision to drive economic growth and empower rural communities through greater access to commercial vehicle financing.
