The prestigious honour was received by the Chairman of Tripura Gramin Bank, Satyendra Singh, recognizing the bank’s exemplary contribution to strengthening Self-Help Groups (SHGs), expanding credit access, and advancing inclusive financial growth across Tripura. The award stands as a testament to sustained efforts in empowering rural women and fostering entrepreneurship at the grassroots.

“This national recognition reflects our collective commitment to financial inclusion and women-led development,” officials noted, adding that the achievement belongs to every SHG member, field functionary, and stakeholder who powered this journey.

Their proactive partnership with the bank has been pivotal in scaling SHG credit linkages and ensuring last-mile delivery.

Gratitude was also extended to the State Administration of Tripura for its steadfast policy support and enabling ecosystem that strengthened the TRLM–TGB collaboration and made this national honour possible.
