Agartala, August 27, 2025: A five-year-old Ayan Debnath from Tripura’s Khowai district has etched his name in the International Book of Records. The prodigious child stunned all by flawlessly reciting the names of 195 countries along with their capitals in just 2 minutes and 53 seconds, earning him global recognition.

Ayan, aged 5 years and 8 months, is the son of Pranojit Debnath, a teacher, and Tanushree Debnath. He hails from Tanti Para under Purba Chebri Gram Panchayat in Khowai. A student of Shishu Shiksha Niketan, the young talent has been awarded a certificate and a medal for this rare feat, making him the youngest to achieve such a record.

His achievement has sparked immense joy and pride among his family, relatives, and local villagers, who hailed Ayan’s exceptional memory and dedication.

Notably, this is not his first recognition. At the age of just 2 years and 4 months, Ayan had already registered his name in the India Book of Records, proving his extraordinary capabilities at an early age.

“This is a moment of pride not just for our family but for the entire state,” expressed his parents, as the village celebrated the rare honor.
