Agartala, November 26, 2025: Tipra Motha founder and royal scion Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma on Wednesday inaugurated six Mobile Medical Units aimed at strengthening healthcare access in remote pockets of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC). The project has been rolled out with CSR support from Apollo Hospitals and the Altius Group.

Speaking at the launch event, Pradyot highlighted the need to take medical services directly to village residents, noting that the mobile units would help reduce frequent and costly travel to Agartala for basic treatment. The units will operate on scheduled routes, hold regular health camps, and extend coverage to underserved communities. Officials said the initiative has also generated 30 new jobs.

Pradyot highlighted the shift in CSR patterns in recent years, observing that contributions have moved from small donations to major investments in healthcare. He said such support has helped bridge gaps in areas where government assistance remained insufficient, including funding for ambulance drivers.

Calling for sustained efforts to uplift tribal regions, Pradyot urged more organizations to step forward in sectors such as healthcare, sports facilities, smart classrooms, anti-drug campaigns, and youth development initiatives.
