Agartala, August 01, 2025: In a significant political development, Tipra Motha Party founder Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the national capital on Friday to push for the expedited implementation of the Tiprasa Accord.
An eight-member delegation accompanied Pradyot during the meeting, including Rajya Sabha MP Kriti Devi Debbarma, TTAADC Chief Executive Member Purna Chandra Jamatia, Minister of State Brishaketu Debbarma, MLAs Ranjit Debbarma and Philip Kumar Reang, and District Council Member Saudagar Kalai.
Following the meeting, Pradyot took to social media, stating, “Had a very good meeting with Home Minister Shri Amit Shah and discussed the implementation of the Tiprasa Accord for the people of our state.”
He further mentioned that the Union Home Minister reaffirmed the Centre’s commitment to the indigenous people of Tripura and assured that he would personally oversee the progress of the accord’s implementation.
