Agartala, October 25, 2025: Former Tipra Motha supremo and MDC Pradyot Kishore Debbarman on Saturday visited GB Hospital in Agartala to meet those injured in the recent Kamalpur incident. During his visit, he interacted with the injured individuals, including BDO Abhijit Majumdar and Engineer Animesh Saha, and inquired about their health condition.

Sharing his thoughts on social media, Pradyot wrote, “I have known BDO Abhijit Majumdar since last year. He is a very dedicated officer who worked tirelessly during the floods in Tripura last year. I walked many kilometers with him in the hilly and disconnected tribal areas.”

He further mentioned that he had also met Engineer Animesh Saha and his elder brother at the hospital to check on their recovery.

Condemning the recent outbreak of violence, Pradyot said, “When people resort to violence, the entire state is affected. I completely condemn all forms of violence.”
