Agartala, March 24, 2026: Pradyot Kishore Debbarma, former supremo of Tipra Motha Party and a member of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council, has once again delivered a strategic political message ahead of the upcoming ADC elections, making it clear that no alliance will be considered unless the tripartite agreement concerning the interests of the Tiprasa people is fulfilled.

In a video message released on Tuesday, Pradyot said his only alliance remains with the Tiprasa people and asserted that he would not compromise on their interests under any circumstances. He stated that without guarantees, implementation of the Tiprasa Accord, or concrete assurances, there would be no alliance with any political party.

Sending a stern message to other political forces, he declared that his political struggle is solely for the protection of his people and the future of the coming generations. He stressed that safeguarding the rights of the indigenous population remains his foremost priority.

Pradyot also sounded confident about the forthcoming ADC elections, scheduled for April 12, expressing faith that victory would come through the support of the people. He said divine blessings and public support would ensure success for his party in the council polls.

At the same time, he urged party workers and supporters to remain united and disciplined during the election period. He specifically appealed to them to avoid internal disputes, confrontation, or violence, emphasizing that the contest is not merely political but linked to the rights and future of the next generation.

The statement is being viewed as a significant political signal ahead of the crucial ADC election, where alliance equations are expected to play a decisive role.
