Agartala, November 20, 2025: Panic gripped residents after unidentified miscreants detonated a crude bomb outside a shop in the Dukhia Cobra area of Khumulwng under West district late Wednesday night. The sudden blast shattered the silence of the night, sending shockwaves across the locality. Alarmed by the explosion, residents rushed out of their homes to assess the situation.

Radhapur police station staff arrived swiftly at the scene and launched an investigation. Officials assured that those responsible would be identified and brought under the purview of law.

The incident has left locals not only fearful but also angry. The shop owner, outside whose premises the bomb was set off, stated that he has no political affiliations. Nevertheless, the attack has raised questions about the motive behind targeting his establishment.

Meanwhile, local Motha party workers pointed fingers at the BJP, alleging its involvement in the incident. The police have yet to confirm any political link.
