Agartala, June 23, 2025: Aditi Majumder, an IAS officer from Tripura, brought laurels to the state by emerging as the top performer in the written examination of the 127th Induction Training Programme held at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie.
Majumder was honoured with the ‘Best Performer in Written Examination’ award during a formal ceremony at the Academy’s Vivekananda Hall on June 12. The award was presented by the Speaker of the Lok Sabha in the presence of LBSNAA Director Sriram Taranikanti and other dignitaries.
In addition to her individual achievement, Majumder was part of Group-1, which received the award for Best Performing Group during the training.
The six-week programme, which concluded on June 13, is part of the Government of India’s Mission Karmayogi initiative, aimed at preparing officers inducted from State Civil Services into the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) for national leadership roles. The training also aligns with the government’s broader vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
A total of 97 officers from 19 states participated in the programme, which focused on leadership development, administrative efficiency, and ethical governance.
Other participants from Tripura included officers Ajit Sukladas, Devananda Reang, Santosh Das, Dhanbabu Reang, Dasarath Debbarma, Mihir Kanti Gope, and Upendra Jamatia, all of whom underwent the intensive training designed to enhance competence and accountability in public service.
