Agartala, January 03, 2026: Tripura has found a new source of pride in little Shriyansh Shastri, a child prodigy from Dharmanagar in the state’s northern district. At just 25 months old, Shriyansh has etched his name in the World Kings Top Records 2025, after previously setting a benchmark in the India Book of Records. His rare achievements have stunned the community and created a historic moment for the district.
Shriyansh first came into the spotlight at 18 months when he flawlessly identified human body parts and recognized 20 different animals. This extraordinary ability earned him a medal and certificate from the India Book of Records.
But his journey did not stop there. By the age of two, Shriyansh showcased an impressive repertoire of 36 distinct content areas, including knowledge of mythology, names of 36 animals, and the complete list of Indian states along with their capitals. In recognition of this remarkable talent, he was honored by World Kings Top Records 2025, which operates under the India Book of Records. The organization awarded him a medal, certificate, commemorative pen, and citation.
Shriyansh is the only child of Biswajit Shastri and Swapna Das, residents of Subhash Palli in Dharmanagar’s Chandrapur Ward No. 5. His father shared that the boy’s talent was evident as early as 13 months. “He could identify and recite these things effortlessly. We applied to the India Book of Records in April 2025, when he was 18 months old, and received the medal and certificate later that month,” Biswajit recalled.
He further explained that in November, at 24 months, Shriyansh’s abilities were once again presented, leading to his second recognition on November 19 in the World Kings Top Records 2025. However, due to Aadhaar card-related complications, his name could not be listed in the global rankings.
Even so, achieving two major honors by the age of just 25 months is unprecedented in Dharmanagar’s rural history. The accomplishment has filled his parents, relatives, and the local community with immense pride.
Looking ahead, his parents emphasized their commitment to guiding Shriyansh’s talent responsibly. “We are determined to provide him with proper education and values so that he grows into a good human being,” they said.
The success of this young prodigy has sparked celebrations across Dharmanagar and the wider North Tripura district, where residents see Shriyansh’s achievement as a symbol of hope and inspiration.
