During the presentation, TRLM CEO Tarit Kanti Chakma, IAS, outlined the mission’s key achievements and future priorities, with a strong emphasis on strengthening Self-Help Group (SHG) enterprises. He highlighted the success of the Samriddhi campaigns, which mobilized ₹198 crore under Samriddhi 1.0 and an additional ₹248 crore under Samriddhi 2.0.

Chakma also underscored a Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta to promote the creation of “Millionaire Didis” and “Crorepati Didis” through entrepreneurial support and capacity building. He further noted that ₹100 crore had been disbursed to one lakh Lakhpati Didis through the hands of the Chief Minister.

Setting an ambitious roadmap ahead, TRLM has increased its target to create 1.35 lakh Lakhpati Didis, up from the existing 1.13 lakh. To support livelihood activities, 60 vehicles have been sanctioned for SHG members. Additionally, around ₹110 crore has been earmarked in the upcoming financial year for infrastructure development under TRLM.

In a bid to enhance market access for SHG products, SHE marts will be established across all districts, serving as dedicated hubs for showcasing and selling products made by SHG members.
