Nongthombam Nimbus, Vice President of BJP Manipur Pradesh, on Tuesday said the Union Budget 2026–27 reflects the Modi government’s vision of action over ambivalence, reform over rhetoric, and people over populism.
He stated that the first Budget presented from Kartavya Bhavan is guided by the principle of Aatmanirbharta and prioritises structural reforms, fiscal prudence, and sustained public investment. The Budget aims to ensure direct benefits to citizens through employment generation, improved agricultural productivity, enhanced household purchasing power, and universal services.
Nimbus highlighted that the Budget is inspired by the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 and is a Yuva Shakti-driven initiative. He added that it is anchored in three key Kartavyas—accelerating economic growth amid global volatility, fulfilling people’s aspirations by building capacity, and developing cutting-edge technologies, including AI, to strengthen governance.
