Aizawl, June 3: Union Minister of State L. Murugan on Wednesday emphasized the critical role of education and sustainable agriculture in realizing India’s vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047.
During his tour of Kolasib district near the Assam border, Murugan visited several educational institutions and reviewed government initiatives aimed at strengthening development in the northern district. Addressing students at a state-run model primary school, he Emphasized the Viksit Bharat 2047 initiative, which seeks to transform India into a fully developed nation within the next two decades.
Murugan Noted that quality education and sustainable farming practices are essential pillars for achieving this national goal, noting that both sectors directly contribute to long-term growth and self-reliance. His interactions with students reflected the government’s broader push to inspire young citizens to actively participate in shaping the country’s future.
