Kohima, May 15: Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, today said that the central government has approved over 338 crore rupees to boost agriculture and allied sectors in Nagaland.

He said this after inaugurating the administrative-cum-academic block of the College of Veterinary Sciences, Jalukie.

Emphasizing the immense potential of Nagaland’s agricultural sector, the minister said, with the right infrastructure and environment in place, the state’s produces can reach national and international markets. On the occasion, the Union Minister also inaugurated the Farmers’ Fair.
