The Principal Secretary of General Administration Department – Navin Kumar Choudhury today chaired a virtual meeting with all Deputy Commissioners (DCs), officials of the 11 districts; and discussed various steps to improve public administration.

During the meeting, the Principal Secretary expressed the importance of establishing all the 11 districts, public grievance redressal mechanism.

He stated that for maintaining preparedness during emergency situations; every DCs must visit all villages within their district to invigilate the working of various department officers.

The virtual meeting also decided that such meetings will be organized on the last Thursday of every month; in order to report on the developments and challenges faced by all districts.
