Mizoram registered a total of 806 new COVID-19 cases, and one fatality in the last 24 hours, as informed by the latest report of state Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR).
Besides, the daily positivity rate has been reported to be 28.73%, according to the information shared by state government today.
The active caseload now stands at 14301. While, a total of 1,72,491 COVID-19 cases have been reported in Mizoram so far. A total of 597 people have succumbed to the deadly infection.
A total of 2805 samples were tested on January 30, 2022, out of which 345 samples belonged to males, while 461 of females.
If DIPR report is taken into context, out of the total samples tested – 561 belonged to symptomatic patients, 245 of asymptomatic.
Furthermore, the total recovery rate in the northeastern state stands at 1,57,584. The official statement further adds that TrueNAT detected 11 (32.35%) positive cases, while RAgT identified 795 (28.69%) positive cases.
