The highway project for 13.4-kms-long 2-Lane Hayuliang-Hawai (Package-I) in Arunachal Pradesh will be completed by this year; as informed by the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways – Nitin Gadkari.
Sanctioned at a total cost worth of Rs 138.13 Crores, this highway project will serve as a “significant Boost to Connectivity in North East”. The concerned stretch located along the Indo-Myanmar Border; will boost the socio-economic development in the region.
Taking to Twitter, the Union Minister wrote “Significant Boost to Connectivity in North East! The project for 13.4 Km 2-Lane Hayuliang-Hawai (Package-I) in Arunachal Pradesh with a total project cost of Rs.138.13 Cr. will be completed this year. #PragatiKaHighway #GatiShakti”

Its worthy to note that on December 2018, Gadkari had inaugurated and laid foundation stones for several national highways projects in Arunachal Pradesh.
