The Manipur Chief Minister – N. Biren Singh noted that the state government is planning to unveil a cancer hospital by March 2023.

While inspecting the construction work at the project sites of the Cancer Hospital at Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS), Singh asserted that the hospital will lessen the hardships faced by citizens of the state.

Constructed on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Model in collaboration with the KARKINOS Healthcare, this hospital will be empanelled for Chief Minister-gi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT), Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY), among other government schemes.

Later, the CM also inspected the construction of Government Quarters at New Checkon, slated to be completed by March 2023.

Besides, the state government is also targeting to complete some more blocks and hand then over to the public before 2024, he added.
