Leaders of the Eastern Nagaland People’s Organization (ENPO) is all set to meet the Union Minister of Home Affairs & Cooperation (MHA) – Amit Shah at New Delhi on December 3.
A 11-member delegation of the organization, led by R Tsapikiu Sangtam will meet the union minister and discuss their demand for the creation of a separate ‘Frontier Nagaland’.
As per ANI report, the Secretary of ENPO – W Manwang Konyak noted that the organization is functioning across six out of the total 16 districts of Nagaland.
ENPO is an umbrella organization of seven tribal bodies of Nagaland – CBLT, KBCA, KBBB, PBCA, USBLA, TBBA and YBBA.
Besides, the ENPO appealed the spiritual leaders to initiate a special prayer programme covering all churches under respective associations on December 3 at 4 PM and urged all bona fide members of Eastern Nagaland to take out 5 minutes time at 4 PM to say a special prayer.
It is worth noting that ENPO have reaffirmed its appeal to the masses of Eastern Nagaland to refrain from participating in any election process initiated by the state and central government, until & unless demand for a separate statehood – “Frontier Nagaland” is fulfilled.
