In a significant boost to law enforcement in Arunachal Pradesh, Mama Natung, Minister (Home), inaugurated the Chimpu Police Station, accompanied by esteemed dignitaries including HMLA Itanagar Kaso Techi, DGP Pradesh Anand Mohan, ADGP Vivek Kishore, and SP Itanagar Rohit Rajbir, along with other senior police officers.

The newly launched police station is equipped with modern facilities and essential amenities, ensuring efficient policing and improved community service. This development underscores the government’s commitment to enhancing public safety and security in the region.

Located in Itanagar, Papum Pare district, Chimpu village has a population of 1,469 residents. The police station’s strategic location will cater to the needs of the local community, providing easy access to law enforcement services.
