Guwahati, Nov 28: Assam Police have arrested two Bangladeshi nationals who were attempting to illegally cross into Indian territory along the Indo-Bangladesh border.

The individuals, identified as Nur Mohammed and Muhammed Khaleda Begum, were apprehended by the police in the border area of Assam.

An investigation has been launched to probe the circumstances surrounding their unlawful entry into India.
