Kurung Kumey district in Arunachal Pradesh has launched a 100-day campaign under India’s National TB Elimination Program, aimed at eradicating tuberculosis (TB) by 2025. The campaign commenced with mass awareness rallies and the Nikshay Shapath oath, calling for collective action to combat the disease.
With the slogan “TB Harega, Desh Jeetega,” the drive focuses on educating the public about TB prevention, early detection, and treatment. This initiative aligns with the national vision of a #TBMuktBharat (TB-Free India) and #TBMuktArunachal, highlighting the district’s commitment to eliminating TB and promoting public health.
