Prakash Chetri, the manager of a stone crusher unit, was reportedly kidnapped by suspected ULFA(I) militants in the Jagun 10 Mile area of Tinsukia district on Wednesday morning.

Police confirmed that the abduction took place around 10 am, and investigations are currently underway. Authorities suspect the involvement of ULFA(I) militants, as the group has been extorting money from local tea garden owners, stone crusher businesses, and traders in the region over the past few months.
