Itanagar, Dec 27: The Indigenous Faith and Cultural Society of Arunachal Pradesh (IFCSAP) is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a month-long series of events, inaugurated today by Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Jual Oram, Chief Minister Pema Khandu, and State Home Minister Mama Natung. The celebration, themed “Honoring Our Ancestors, Celebrating Our Faith, and Inspiring Future Generations,” aims to recognize and preserve the indigenous traditions and values that define the state’s cultural identity.
In his address, Union Minister Jual Oram praised IFCSAP’s efforts in promoting the state’s indigenous culture, calling it a model for other regions to follow. He emphasized the government’s ongoing commitment to supporting the preservation of Arunachal Pradesh’s rich heritage.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu expressed his admiration for the society’s work over the past 25 years, noting that the milestone highlights the resilience of the state’s traditions and the unity of its diverse communities. He urged citizens to inspire future generations to continue cherishing and promoting their cultural roots.
The celebrations included a vibrant array of cultural activities, such as traditional dances, music, and sacred rituals, showcasing the state’s rich diversity. Indigenous communities from across Arunachal Pradesh came together to present their unique customs, costumes, and traditions, highlighting the region’s cultural richness.
