Gangtok, Jan 6: Om Prakash Rajbhar, Uttar Pradesh’s Minister of Panchayati Raj, and JPS Rathore, Minister of the Cooperative Department, met with Sikkim Governor Om Prakash Mathur at Raj Bhavan on Monday evening.

The ministers, on behalf of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, invited the Governor to attend the Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj, one of the world’s largest and most significant religious events. The Governor graciously accepted the invitation.

The discussions also focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation between Uttar Pradesh and Sikkim, with a focus on mutual development. The Governor presented the ministers with traditional Khadas as a mark of hospitality.
