Kohima, March 6: Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister T.R. Zeliang, who also holds the Planning & Transformation and National Highways portfolio, chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of ongoing National Highway projects and address key challenges affecting their execution.
The meeting focused on unresolved land acquisition issues concerning the Peren-Dimapur (Package-V) and Kohima-Jessami (Package-II) projects. Zeliang instructed the contractor for the Kohima-Jessami project to commence work without delay, warning of termination if progress remains stalled.
Reiterating the government’s commitment to infrastructure development, he announced an on-site inspection of the Kohima Bypass on March 11.
