Guwahati, Apr 8: Assamese YouTuber Dimpu Baruah is set to make his Bollywood debut with the film Bihu Attack, where he will share the screen with renowned actor Arbaaz Khan. Directed by Suzad Iqbal Khan, the film is scheduled to release on May 31, 2025.
Dimpu, known for his signature Nalbariya accent and relatable content on his popular YouTube channels Dimpu Baruah and Dimpu’s Vlogs, will appear in a brief role in the film, which is expected to last one to two minutes. Despite the short duration, fans are thrilled to see the internet sensation transition from YouTube to the big screen.
Dimpu’s journey to fame began in 2017 with his viral video Albari Town by Cycle, which catapulted him to stardom. Over the years, he has amassed a large following, making him one of the most subscribed and influential YouTubers from Assam.
Directed by Suzad Iqbal Khan, known for his films such as Deep in the Woods: Death Warrant (2022) and Surgical Strike (2018), Bihu Attack marks an exciting new chapter in Dimpu Baruah’s career.
