Gangtok, Apr 39: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) launched the “Public Purse” magazine at the Curtain Raiser ceremony for the Kuzu Cultural Festival. The event, which was graced by Madam Krishna Rai, highlighted Sikkim’s dedication to financial transparency, cultural heritage, and progress.
The magazine provides insights into the state’s financial transformation, covering topics such as governance reforms, fiscal policies, and social welfare, along with contributions from public servants and thought leaders. It encapsulates Sikkim’s vision for a “Sunaulo, Samriddha ani Samarth Sikkim” (Golden, Prosperous, and Capable Sikkim).
The launch event also recognized the efforts of all contributors and stakeholders involved in bringing the publication to life, reflecting a collective commitment to excellence in public service.
