Assam HS Results 2025 Declared, Highest Pass Percentage In Science Stream

Guwahati, Apr 30: The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) declared the Class 12 Higher Secondary (HS) Examination Results 2025 on Wednesday at 9 AM. Results for Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational streams were made available on the board’s official websites. Notably, the board did not announce any toppers this year.

Among the streams, the Science stream recorded the highest pass percentage at 84.88%. Out of 56,909 students who appeared, 48,309 passed. Female students achieved a higher success rate of 85.54%, compared to 84.39% among male students.

In the Arts stream, 2,26,756 students appeared, and 1,84,745 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 81.03%. Female students outperformed males with a pass rate of 82.95% compared to 78.42%.

The Commerce stream had 17,746 candidates, of which 14,584 passed, giving an overall pass percentage of 82.18%. Female students again led with 82.40%, while male students recorded 82.08%.

In the Vocational stream, the pass percentage stood at 68.55%, with female students securing 74.39% and male students at 65.53%.

District-wise Highlights:

Science Stream: West Karbi Anglong topped with 100% pass rate, followed by Sivasagar (97.13%) and Baksa (95.66%). Dima Hasao recorded the lowest with 56.27%.

Arts Stream: Baksa led with 95.21%, Darrang followed with 93.82%, while Cachar had the lowest at 58.96%.

Commerce Stream: South Salmara achieved a 100% pass rate with 11 students appearing.

This year’s results reflect a strong overall performance, particularly by female students across all streams.
