Mizoram CM Lalduhoma Reviews Railway Projects With North Eastern Railway GM

Aizawl, May 3: Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma held a review meeting with North Eastern Railway General Manager (Construction) A.K. Chaudhary on Friday to assess the progress of major railway projects in the state.

The discussion covered the development of Bairabi railway station, the approach road to Mualkhang station, and ongoing construction at Sairang station. Chaudhary informed the Chief Minister that he had travelled by train up to Sairang during his visit and noted steady progress at the site.

He added that the Commission of Railway Safety is expected to conduct an inspection in early June, with the inauguration likely to follow after June 17.

The Chief Minister was accompanied by Vanlaldina Fanai, Commissioner and Secretary to the Chief Minister. Senior officials from the North Eastern Railway also attended the meeting.
