In a joint operation, Assam Rifles and the Customs Preventive Force, Champhai, recovered 2.5 kilograms of Heroin No. 4 from the general area of Kelkang in Champhai district on Wednesday.

The seized contraband, valued at approximately Rs 17.54 crore, has been handed over to the Customs Preventive Force Department for further legal proceedings.
