Assam Rifles, in a joint operation with the Customs Preventive Force, Champhai, seized 327 bags of illegal areca nuts from the general area of Chhungte in Champhai district on 19 May 2025.
The seized consignment, valued at Rs 1.83 crore, was handed over to the Customs Preventive Force for further legal proceedings.
