Guwahati, Jun 10:l Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma chaired a meeting with Ministers, MLAs from Barak Valley, and officials of the Barak Valley Development Department at Lok Sewa Bhawan on Tuesday.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister discussed a Common Development Goal for the three districts of Barak Valley. He also called for expediting MRI facilities in Civil Hospitals and proposed the establishment of Barak Bhavans in Delhi and Kolkata.

Plans for organizing Barak Cultural and Sports Festivals were also discussed during the meeting.
